First of all, we ALL know how obsessed I am with Amazon Prime. If I can't get something on Prime, do I really need it? Probably not. I don't go anywhere because I can get everything on Prime, & I'm perfectly content with that. BUT, have you heard of Amazon Smile???? Amazon Smile is a division of Amazon, where you can set proceeds to the charity of your choice. You still get Prime prices & shipping, you just get to also donate some of your proceeds to a charity. I have mine set to go directly to our church, but there are thousands of places that you could select. The only difference is that instead of going to amazon.com you go to smile.amazon.com...It's so easy to give back through your shopping. I started using Amazon Smile a couple years ago, but I just recently checked to see how much I have been able to donate through my shopping.......let's just say I might shop a lot but I'm glad I'm able to donate through my shopping lol. Since I basically just said that I am obsessed with Amazon, I want to share two of my favorite purchases lately. I got this paper cutter, and I think it has changed my life (dramatic? oh yes!). When I'm prepping school things, I usually do it at night after everyone goes to bed, and this makes cutting up things I have laminated sooooo much faster! I can print, laminate, & cut an entire unit in like 20 minutes. This thing saves me so much time and I have no idea why I waited so long to get it?! It's even under $10! It really is a game changer!
This book I got for my bestie to go in her Real Coffee Break bag. I honestly got it for her because when I was reading it for myself, I could think of no one else but her! This is the sweetest funniest book about "your person". Shankle shares stories about her IRL bestie, and it just reminded me so much of my own bestie and how much I appreciate and love her. I had to give this to her! I'm in a season of life right now where reading is darn near impossible, but this book was such an easy and enjoyable read. This isn't something you have to read cover to cover, or within a short period of time because you might not remember a previous chapter. This is something you can read a little bit here or there and still enjoy it and get something from it. While reading this book I often found myself smiling because it reminded me of my own relationship with my bestie and just how grateful I am for her. I highly recommend you get two copies, one for you and one for YOUR bestie.
