Hawley Houston Christmas

As in previous years, Phil & I celebrated Christmas at home in Houston before we traveled. To be honest, we do this out of convenience. Yes, it’s nice to have our own special Christmas together, but really, when we fly it’s a lot easier (and lighter) to leave our gifts to each other at home.

After Phil’s last final, we left some cookies for Santa (sorry Reindeer, we’ll do better next year), while we ate dinner (Christmas Pot Pie), & then we drank hot cocoa while opening our gifts to each other for my birthday, Christmas, our anniversary, AND Phil’s birthday! Phew, that was expensive!
