What I’m Lovin’ Wednesday: Lovie Dovie Season

I admit it: I used to be a Valentine’s Day hater.  Comments like “It’s just a Hallmark holiday” used to come out of my mouth all of the time.  Yep, I still think that it is a marketing charade; however my perspective has shifted in the past decade, and of course I love my Valentine, friends, and family on more than just one day a year dictated by the calendar.  Now I think it is just nice to take a minute to pause and remind your loved ones that they are loved, and I tend to go a little overboard and celebrate the entire month of February lol  Call me an extremist!

In case you’re looking for inspiration for how to celebrate all month, here are some of the recipes and lovely crafts (pun totally intended) that we do to celebrate the chocolate gorging, sappy chatting,  lovie dovie season:

I hope this helps you start getting ready for the big love-fest!
Happy Hump Day my blog Valentines!

Aw super cute finds! I do love valentine's day, even though I never have a valentine. Although one year it'd be nice if I could actually have one!

Awww the valentine from the pups with their paw prints is so cute!! That's a good idea. Not sure ours would cooperate though :)

I love the message mugs. What a great idea! And not just for Valentine's Day.

I'm a big hot chocolate fan, so I'm definitely going to have to check out your red velvet hot chocolate post. It sounds good! :)

OMG, leave it to Dr. Darby Stewart (your new name, I've decided) to make puppy paw print Valentines. So cute!

Puppy paw prints?! I die!!!! Red velvet hot chocolate has me very intrigued! Mmmmm! I don't really care for Valentine's day....but I am down with any holiday décor that includes pink and hearts.

So fun! I remember the heart garland last year gave me the idea to do my shamrock one for St. Patty's day!! Do you remember where you got the white bird in the last photo? So pretty!!
