I was in awe of the leaves; so gorgeous this time of year. Houston has palm trees or dehydrated/dead trees, so seeing the beautiful colors was such a treat for me.

Mom and I did some shopping and lots of talking. We also got these drinks called Samoas and they tasted exactly like the girl scout cookie. Scrumptious!
Chinatown….if you’ve been to NYC, D.C.’s Chinatown is completely different. lol
D.C. was already decorated for Christmas. It was spectacular.
Me, mom, and Kellyn. It was very windy in the evenings there.

We went to this awesome Pizza Pie shop for dinner on Sunday night, and I couldn’t resist my nerdy self. I had to get my picture taken :-)
All in all, it was a delightful trip, despite being a work trip. If' you’ve never seen D.C. in the fall, you must add it to your bucket list.

Lol....definitely seen DC in the fall :).that is one thing I definitely miss.it was very beautiful. Glad you had a good time! In that first picture of you and your mom you look like twins...not to mention she looks like she is in her 20s....the second picture she looks more like you mom than twin sister..heehee
What a fun trip! I'm glad you were able to see your sister and mom! Caleb and I went to DC last fall and it was so fun just walking around taking in the gorgeous weather. We both have been to DC a ton of times since we grew up in VA, but it's always such a fun place to visit!
Aww you were in my neck of the woods..DC definitely has beautiful scenery...glad you enjoyed some of our fall scenes!!
We love the DC area. We were just there over Thanksgiving! Such a beautiful place! Great pictures!
Looks like you had a great time! I visited DC for the first time in May and LOVED it. Can't wait to go back!
Ahhh... I love these pictures! I'm so glad you had a great time and got to see your family while you were there! I bet going back made you miss it even more! You and your mom DO look SO much alike! All 3 of you are beautiful! :) I laughed out loud when I saw the Pi pic! Haha! I have never been to DC in the fall. That is definitely going on my bucket list! The last time I was there they were having the Cherry Blossom festival. It was so gorgeous, but very crowded!
Hugs,
Crystal
So nice to see DC through fresh eyes! It's easy to take it for granted when you live nearby.
Those drinks look fab!
