Remember this post from a few weeks ago on my Love Affair with a Skillet? I ran across some wonderful (and interesting) alternative uses for cast iron skillets.
What do you think? Have I taken this obsession a little too far? Yeah, probably. But you have to admit that skillet recipe holder and campfire cooking is brilliant! Simply brilliant I say ;-)

HAHA, my grandmother would DIE if she knew I was using my skillet for something other than COOKING! LOL
I haul all my cast iron stuff camping! Not only is it great to cook in - it's a resource for unwelcome camping guests (bears, raccoons, etc.).
