We’ve been filling this change bucket since we got married.
Phil empties his pockets into the bucket and I empty my wallet. I just don’t like the extra weight in my purse. My purse is already heavy enough with me carrying everything but the kitchen sink in there. I figure I don’t need the extra change-weight. Besides, do people take change any more? Everything is at least a dollar and most people don’t even carry cash anymore. So to me there is no need for me to carry change really.
Now that the bucket is full…
1) How much is in there? Can you guess how much is in there without going over (The Price is Right- style)?
2) What should we spend it on? Though I know this will depend on how much is in there, but what should we be saving for? We could donate it. We could put it in our savings account. What other ideas do you have?
