What happens when 2 besties love Christmas sooooooooooo much that they want to celebrate it all year long?! 
This week we had a party for our kiddos (who also love Christmas just as much as us) to celebrate Christmas, and it was so much fun. It seems like our country lately has had soooo much……..junk happening lately that it’s hard to find anything good or to celebrate, so why not celebrate something as wonderful as Christmas?! We had so much fun that we decided to make this an annual event. Having a half-way point in the year to check in and prep for the upcoming holiday season sounds perfect, right? On Monday we wore our Christmas jammies and had Christmas morning breakfast together. We cranked the A/C, read Christmas stories, sang carols, watched Elf, decorated cookies, colored Christmas pictures, drank hot cocoa & Christmas coffee, and talked about Jesus in the manger. Santa made a mid-year pit stop by our house to drop off 1 gift each to help us get ready for the real Christmas in December (wooden advent calendars & manger scene). It was awesome and I highly recommend it.
